Blind Date Book?

If you are wondering what is a blind date book, the following will hopefully explain:

Generally when you want to buy a new book, you would visit a bookstore or a library and normally choose which genre you love to read, be it a thriller, romantic fiction, maybe a murder mystery etc.. Then if you have a favorite author, you would look for their name, lastly maybe the illustration of the book cover will intrique you or maybe the title catches your eye. You'll probably then turn the book over and read the synopsis or reviews on the back cover which will hopefully pique your interest enough to buy. But and it's a BIG but, what if you can't choose a book via all of these methods. What would it be like to maybe choose a different genre for a change or discover a new author........

Blind date books offer you the chance to just live 'dangerously' a little. Take a chance on a new read, a mystery/surprise book. All you will discover on the wrapping is the genre (where known), previous reviews and a little sneak preview into what the book maybe about. Who knows, it could open up a whole new world to you.

All of our books are preloved and mostly paperbacks. They are secondhand, lightly read, good condidtion books that we have sourced from charity shops or local marketplaces. We pride ourselves on prechecking every book before we offer it for sale. Occasionally we might come across a book that has maybe a few creased pages, or the front cover has creases or very small indentations and these book we call our 'Oops Books' and although they are still capable of being read, they will be offered at a reduced price to offset the minor damage. We probably wouldn't recommend giving the Oops books as gifts, best to gift to yourself to read.
